Sarah Little is a Texas-based interdisciplinary artist whose work is shaped by a lifelong awareness that truth is rarely singular. Raised within a military family, she encountered differing perspectives, beliefs, and expectations from an early age. This fostered a lasting curiosity about how people construct meaning and navigate the complexities of the world around them.

Rather than following a linear path, Sarah’s life exposed her to diverse communities, perspectives, and environments that continually challenged assumptions and broadened her understanding of human experience. Her upbringing bridged two distinct cultural frameworks, one shaped by American life and the other by an immigrant perspective, offering an early awareness of how identity is formed through contrast, inheritance, and adaptation. Over time, this developed into an enduring habit of observation, encouraging her to look beyond surface narratives and consider the subtle forces that shape perception, relationships, and memory.

Working across sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, digital media, and mixed media, Sarah approaches each body of work as an investigation rather than a conclusion. Her interdisciplinary practice reflects an ongoing search for the nuances that exist between certainty and ambiguity, exploring the spaces where nature, culture, history, and personal experience intersect.

Through her work, Sarah invites viewers to slow their preconceptions, embrace complexity, and consider the possibility that every perspective reveals only part of a larger reality.
